Abstract:

As satellite communication technology rapidly evolves, and demands for user numbers and bandwidth escalate, satellite communication systems are transitioning from single-satellite to multi-satellite configurations. Consequently, the management and control requirements for the systems have become increasingly stringent, with the design of their processes garnering significant attention. This study employs the model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approach, leveraging digital modeling techniques to simulate the management and control processes of satellite communication systems. The aim is to validate and enhance these processes. Simulation outcomes indicate that this digital modeling design affirms the functional accuracy of the satellite communication system’s management and control processes, as well as the adherence to critical time metrics such as network establishment, entry, and usage. This offers robust support for amplifying the management and control capabilities of satellite communication systems and refining scheme designs.

Key words: satellite communication system, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), management and control processes, digital modeling.
