Abstract:

Shipborne gravimetry is one of the critical methods for obtaining marine earth gravity field information. In order to improve the accuracy of shipborne gravimetry data, Db8 and Haar wavelet transform methods are used to denoise the gravity data with two kinds of random noise. The results show that the absolute accuracy of gravity data is improved by 1.024 2 mGal and 9.274 7 mGal, and the relative accuracy is increased by 71% and 93% after Db8 wavelet transform processing. After Haar wavelet transform processing, the absolute accuracy of gravity data is improved by 0.804 4 mGal and 9.109 5 mGal, and the relative accuracy is increased by 56% and 91%. The data can retain the basic trend after noise reduction. It can provide a basis for gravity exploration.
