High-precision time synchronization networking algorithm for 5G base station based on GNSS

Abstract:

Based on the requirements of internet of things positioning, the accuracy of time synchronization among 5G mobile communication base stations is expected to reach the nanosecond level. Based on the principle of "neighborhood similarity", an algorithm is proposed to eliminate neighborhood differences and improve the accuracy of time synchronization among 5G base stations due to the large error of time synchronization among the receivers as the different sets of visual satellites during time service of 5G base stations through the global navigation satellite system (GNSS). The algorithm is verified by experiments. The results show that the algorithm effectively solves the problem of large time synchronization error caused by different sets of visual satellites and improves the accuracy of time synchronization among 5G base stations.
