Abstract: In order to solve the problem of estimating the symbol rate of filter bank multicarrier (FBMC), this paper proposes a secondorder moment of autocorrelation and cyclic autocorrelation algorithm. The symbol period of the signal is estimated by the autocorrelation secondorder moment characteristic of the FBMCoffset quadrature amplitude modulation (OQAM) signal.Then, according to the cyclic autocorrelation of the FBMCOQAM signal, the cycle frequency α=0 map has discrete spectral line features for the symbol period estimation. Finally, the performance of the symbol period estimation algorithm is compared. The simulation results show that under a low signaltonoise ratio, both algorithms can effectively realize the symbol period estimation of the FBMCOQAM signal.
