Abstract:

To solve the problem of beam pointing affected by disturbance of the missile body in a phased array seeker, a novel method called strapdown decoupling method based on loop filter (SDMLF) is designed. In this method, the difference between the compensated beam direction and the initial beam direction is sent into loop filter. Then, the compensated beam pointing is modified by the filtered beam pointing error. The disturbed beam direction is controlled for closeloop eventually. To improve the applicability and decoupling performance of SDMLF, the adaptive calculation of the equivalent loop noise bandwidth of LF is added. Hence, an improved method based on SDMLF called strapdown decoupling method based on adaptive loop filter is achieved. The reliability of the designed loop in this study is enhanced. Computer simulations and experiments in semi-physical simulation system highlight the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method.
