Abstract:
The spares optimization scheme of large-scale phased array radar is one of the key issues on the anti-missile early warning equipment. In order to improve the support performance of phased array radar’s antennas, a spares optimization scheme on condition-based batch maintenance and periodic review is proposed. With the T/R units as a starting point, when the trouble T/R units exceed the predetermined threshold of k/N system, but the others do not, the maintenance of antennas is initiated. Then a spares optimization model that minimizes the acquisition cost under the restriction of system supply availability is established. Marginal efficiency analysis algorithm is applied to achieve the optimization. Finally, several examples are given to verify that this model is reasonable and feasible, which will provide the theoretical foundation for spares optimization.
