Abstract:
Aiming at the problem that slow and small target (SST) could not be detected continuously in the radar adjacent frames, resulting in radar loss of target, a detection method for SST based on image multi-frame accumulation filter is proposed. First, the interferences between the fixed clutter and the SST are removed by using the interframe difference technique. Then, the parameters of the minimum circumscribed rectangle, consisting of F3、 F2 and F1, are introduced as the characteristic factors of the filter, and these parameters are extracted in the accumulation region by the image marking technique. Finally, the slow moving clutter is removed in the target by controlling the characteristic factor, which improves the detection performance of the radar to the SST. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
