Abstract:

A translational compensation algorithm of micromotion with spectrum aliasing for narrowband radar is proposed. It is done in highorder and loworder spectrum aliasing cases. Based on the analysis of these two aliasing cases, the translational can be fast degraded by approximating the aliasing frequency as a linear frequency modulation sawtooth wave in highorder spectrum aliasing cases. To deal with the loworder spectrum aliasing, the timefrequency image is expanded in frequency, and then the timefrequency curve without frequency ambiguity can be extracted based on morphological image processing. Finally, the leastsquare fitting of polynomial is utilized in the curve for translational compensation. Simulations are given to validate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed algorithm.
