Improved calibration method for heterogeneous network

Abstract:

Coordinated multiple points transmission (CoMP) could eliminate the inter cell interference in heterogeneous network by promoting coordination of different nodes. The performance of CoMP depends heavily on the accuracy of channel information measured. An improved calibration method based on calibration matrix method heteogeneous network is proposed. It works without the measurement of channel impact factors and it avoids restriction of the antennas configuration. The results from simulations of link level simulation and system level simulation of long term evolutionadvanced heterogeneous network demonstrated that the proposed method restored the reciprocity of time division duplexing channel and the performance of bit error rate and throughput.
