Abstract:

The supplier selection of military material procurement is an important factor that affects the army battle effectiveness. The features of group decision making and experts’ lexicographic preferences are analyzed in the choices of military material suppliers. A two stage group preference aggregation method is proposed to solve the problem of military material suppliers’ selection. The first stage is the aggregation method of individual experts’ lexicographic attribute preferences. According to individual experts’ lexicographic attributes and supplier ranking, the group lexicographic attribute preferences are calculated. The second stage is the aggregation method of group experts’ lexicographic preferences about suppliers. According to the multiple experts’ scores about suppliers, the group scores about suppliers are calculated. Combined with group lexicographic attribute preferences, the final democratic result of the supplier selection is gotten. The proposed method is applied into an example about selection of armored vehicle storage battery supplier in a troop. The method of supplier selection proposed highlights the individual experts’ lexicographic preferences and overcomes the deficiency of the attribute weighted in the traditional analytic hierarchy process.
