Abstract:

Nowadays researches on metadata for information sharing mainly focus on some processional fields. The existent metadata standards cannot be used under all conditions. As the user′s requirement for information sharing improves unceasingly, the on-demand sharing and synchronization of heterogeneous and complicated data become an urgent issue to be solved. First, the information sharing technology is researched, and then a two-layer metadata standard is proposed. The first layer of the metadata provides a uniform description format for one type of data, and the second layer of the metadata manages the first layer to shield the difference between multiclass metadata formats. Second, an information sharing system is built to realize the multiple class data synchronization between different users. At the same time, the searching algorithm of the metadata is optimized. Finally, the experiment results illustrate the effectiveness of the approach and the conclusion is given.
