Abstract:
To solve the problem of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation of coherent signals in the presence of channel amplitudephase errors, a method based on crosscorrelation vectors is proposed. Firstly, the time delay of array state transition is controlled to ensure that the observed data of each subarray have a property of rotational invariance. Then, error coefficients can be estimated with the ratio of different elements from crosscorrelation vectors. Meanwhile, the decorrelation of coherent signals can be accomplished by reconstructing an equivalent covariance matrix, which is made of crosscorrelation vectors without error coefficients. Moreover, angle offset caused by different time delays is analyzed. Simulation confirms that the proposed algorithm is effective in channel amplitudephase errors calibration and decorrelation, which has high resolution characteristics similar to the spatial smoothing algorithm without amplitudephase errors.
