Abstract:

Shifted Luby transform (SLT) codes are the kind of digital fountain codes whose data packets are encoded with the LT codes by the feedback information in order to decrease the number of the encoded packets at the receiver end. This paper proposes an expand shifted robust soliton distribution (ESRSD) function through modified shifted robust soliton distribution (SRSD) for the scheme of message propagation (MP) decoder with error correction codes based on the single feedback information in order to get the encoded packets recovered those error packets at the end. To compare ESRSD with SRSD, experimental results show that the number of packets by using ESRSD is the least, compared with the other methods in LT codes or using the SLT codes with the SRSD.
