Abstract:

In networked flight vehicle fault detection systems that switch among multiple operating points, time delay and dropout may lead the filter switching lag behind the switching of the flight model. A fault detection algorithm based on asynchronous switching systems is presented. The flight vehicle that operates on multiple points within a large-scale flight envelope under network circumstance is modeled as an asynchronous switching system. The sufficient condition for globally uniformly asymptotically stability (GUAS) is proposed based on Lyapunov functions and average dwell time method. The filter parameters are solved by a series of linear matrix inequations (LMI). A numerical example is provided to illustrate the validity of the devised approach.
