Abstract:
For the problem of time delay difference (TDD) estimation of unknown signal, a weighted method based on frequency variance is proposed for TDD estimation. The proposed method uses the characteristics of frequency units of false TDD being random and frequency units of true TDD being steady to weight each TDD based on frequency variance, and extrudes the true TDD. The theoretical analysis and experiment results show that the proposed method has better robustness than the conventional cross correlation, and provides a reference idea for TDD estimation of weak signal.
