Abstract:

Simulation based virtual flight test has became an alternative way for the overall performance validation of nearspace vehicles, which possesses strategic importance for national defence. But there is no success overall performance simulation for nearspace vehicles due to the compositive complexities from complex computation, uncertainty and time variant characteristics, especially for the coupling dynamics among multidisciplinary systems, including integration design, control, aerodynamics, structure strength, material, vehicle kinematics and kinetics, hot defend, etc. Therefore, a virtual flight integration test approach is proposed together with a simulation model for multidisciplinary coupling dynamics and a high performance computer based simulation platform. Thus a way to overall performance validation and evaluation for hypersonic vehicle is presented.
