Abstract:

Using ambiguity function, the performance of shift-frequency jamming against linear frequency modulation pulse is analysed. Some interference parameters according to radar signal detection are studied in detail, which are defined as jamming peak value loss, jamming peak time, jamming noise ratio, jamming signal width ratio. By shiftfrequency ratio, the suppression jamming and deceive jamming are separated. Low value shiftfrequency ratio means deceive jamming cause the output waveform by shift-frequency jamming as same as it by target echo, while high value means suppression jamming cause the output waveform distortion. The radar equation is used to analyse the two models.
