Abstract:

In order to improve the radio frequency stealth ability of a phased array radar, a method of power control based on radio frequency stealth is proposed. Firstly, the principle of power classification is presented. Secondly, regarding the desired power in the desired direction and minimum power in other directions as the target function, a particle swarm optimization method is improved to select the array for power classification. Finally, on the condition of constant detection probability, an adaptive method for emitting power is achieved according to the radar cross section (RCS) of varying sizes and the position of the target. The simulation results show that the proposed method has a better performance of radio frequency stealth.
