Abstract:

Traditional methodology for assessing multi-mode global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) is only suitable to analyzing compatibility of the signal which has long code, high code rate and data rate. Through deducing signal model and discussing the influence of data rate and the pseudo code of the navigation signals onto SSC, a more accurate methodology for assessing GNSS compatibility is proposed. This methodology, which includes Doppler effects and takes into account all the satellite navigation signals in the same frequency with expected signal, is suitable for all types of satellite navigation signals. And it is proved by analyzing GPS intrasystem and intersystem interference. The results show that the interference of E1 OS to GPS C/A is limited in 0.1 dB.
