Forecasting problem of large ship’s platform purchase cost based on equalation-engineering-value-ratio

Abstract:

The forecasting problem of the large ship’s platform purchase cost from the point of view of complex systems is presented. Basing on the analysis of methods on cost forcasting and estimating, a method based on equalation-engineering-value-ratio is put forward to solve the large ship platform purchasing cost problem in argumentation phase according to the characters of cost forecasting of a large ship platform. By calculating the ship outlay’s index and equalation-engineering-value-ratio, two new methods based on CER and per ton’s building cost are applied to calculate the large ship platform purchasing cost and the two results validate each other. The result can play an important role in large ship’s decesion-making, constructing and building, cost estimating and cost controlling etc.
