Abstract: In order to resolve storage scheduling problem in streaming service systems with hierarchical storage architecture,a sub-tree virtualization method is proposed to simplify model analysis and storage scheduling policy design.A distributed storage scheduling policy is proposed to maintain the load-balance of the system through top-down replica distribution and bottom-up replica requesting.Experiment shows that with the proposed storage scheduling policy, the streaming service system achieves a load-balance and high user requests acceptance rate.
