Abstract: The linguistic variable of the evaluation value and weight vectors is modeled by the normal fuzzy number, and the decision making framework based on the linguistic operator is established by the weighted mean method. The linguistic operator based on normal fuzzy numbers is given, and then the calculating method for the cuts of the comprehensive evaluation value is put forward. The fuzzy number of evaluation is expressed by discrete cuts, and the normal fuzzy number is aggregated. The comprehensive evaluation can also be expressed by normal fuzzy numbers and the parameters are got by regression. The linear ranking method based on the Euclid distance for the normal fuzzy number is proposed. Finally, the approach is applied in the decision making of an electronic countermeasures equipment system, and the results show the feasibility and validity of the proposed approach.
