Abstract:

t is difficult for the traditional radar to detect targets with radar crosssection (RCS) fluctuation via the longtime coherent integration. Combining the characteristics of multipleinput multipleoutput (MIMO) radar and orthogonal frequencydivision multiplexing (OFDM) waveform, an incoherent integration detection method is proposed using distributed OFDMMIMO radar. The parallel incoherent processing of the multichannel echo in a short time is exploited to weaken the effect caused by the longtime integration, the complex phase compensation and the fast 〖JP+1〗RCS fluctuation. Then, the multitarget integration and detection are realized effectively. Simulation results verify the superiority of the detection method using the distributed OFDMMIMO radar.
