Abstract:

Smeared spectrum (SMSP) jamming and chopping and interleaving (C&I) jamming are invented to counter linear frequency modulation (LFM) pulse compression radar. Compared with SMSP jamming, C&I jamming is more similar to the radar transmitting signal, and more difficult to be suppressed. To solve this problem, a jamming suppression algorithm is proposed under the background of coherent radar countering C&I jamming. This paper studies the time-frequency characteristics of the jamming signal and the effect on coherent radar under the situation of stand-off jamming. On this basis, the jamming parameters such as position, amplitude, Doppler frequency, sampling period and sampling pulse width are estimated by joint processing in fast-slow time domain, and then the jamming signal is reconstructed. By subtracting the reconstructed signal from the echo, the purpose of jamming suppression is finally realized. The simulation results verifiy the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
