Abstract:

A frequency domain imaging method for single input multiple output synthetic aperture radar is proposed. This method transforms the measurements into the wavenumber domain, and then the compensation relation is obtained by utilizing the dimension increasing operation. The curvature of the wavefront is completely compensated in wavenumberdomain. Therefore, it has high accuracy and can be applied in near field three dimensional imaging scenes. In addition, its fast Fourier transform based scheme provides high imaging efficiency. Both theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the proposed method has the same imaging result as the backprojection algorithm but with lower computational load.
