Abstract:

To improve the electromagnetic performance of the dual-reflector antennas more directly and effectively by adjusting the subreflector position, the direct relation between subreflector position adjustment parameter and electrical performance is developed based on electromechanical couple theory. The influence of the lateral and axial deviation of subreflector position is analyzed. The optimization model of subreflector position adjustment parameter is established, and then the optimal subreflector position parameters at some elevation angles are obtained, which are fitted to achieve subreflector position real-time adjustment at the all elevation angles range. The method is applied a 26 m reflector antenna. Result shows that the proposed method can obtain the optimal subreflector adjustment parameters directly and effectively, optimize electrical performance, and active compensate effectively the antenna structure gravity deformation.
