Abstract:

Space station redocking is a long period process which undergoes uncertainties from external environment and space station itself. A dynamic model of redocking is derived by the Kane method, then the generalized polynomial chaos method is used to analyze the influence on attitude motion caused by uncertainties. Numerical simulations show that the efficiency and accuracy of the gPC method is better than the Monte Carlo sampling method, and if redocking begins from the “zero state”, uncertainties cause great impact on the process.
