Abstract:

Multi-echelon spare parts inventory is a universal supply model. Considering the demand of spare parts dynamically changes during the mission, as well as other factors such as the discard, maintenance, and transportation, a time varying availability model for task oriented spare parts of arbitary supply echelon is established. Firstly, the maintenance and transportation supply channel of spare parts is analyzed. Secondly, the theory of multi-echelon technique for recoverable item control of repairable spare parts is extended with the dynamic Parr theorem, and the model of maintenance and transportation supply of spare parts is built. Finally, according〖JP2〗 to the probability distribution type of maintenance and transportation supply, the model of equipment availability is established. The time varying availability of equipment is analyzed, and the calculation results are verified. The results show that the model can provide decision-making tools for decision makers.
