Abstract:

Aiming at the energy limited characteristic of nodes in intermittent connectivity wireless network, an adaptive asynchronous energysaving mechanism with dynamic feedback is proposed to solve the problem of excessive energy consumption during the idle listening. And on this basis, a duty cycle mechanism is designed to extend the life cycle of nodes effectively and improve the delivery performance of the network, which can adjust dynamically according to the feedback of communication error rate and node energy consumption. The simulation results show that the proposed mechanism can maximize the lifetime of the network and node without making the delivery performance degradation when compared with the congeneric mechanisms.
