Abstract:
Based on time frequency interferometer of uniform circular array (UCA), a new 2-D direction of arrival (DOA) estimation algorithm of linear frequency modulation (LFM) signals is proposed. Firstly, good time frequency concentration of LFM signals is used to calculate cross Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD) of the elements output. Then, the timefrequency impulse point’s phase of WVD results is extracted to get equations with DOA of the signal. The angles of the signal can be obtained by solving the equations. By selecting different element groups, the ambiguity can be solved using the algorithm of searching the ambiguity number. Finally, 2-D DOA estimation of LFM signals can be realized and the simulation results verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.
