Abstract:

The open and dynamic nature of the network environment makes it a challenge for the multiagent system to work in a secure environment. One feasible way to minimize the threats is to evaluate the trust of interactive entities and use trust as the main reference element of system security to assist agents in selecting the service provider in order to control the malicious agents. The mechanism is in the dimension of time to calculate trust. After the trust authenticity test and the logicality test, the system makes judgment and decision of agents’ trust to assist trust management. Simulation analysis shows that DynamicTrust has a reasonable rule in computing sensitivity and trust. Incorporating the principle of “slow rise and quick decline” and with the load-balancing mechanism, DynamicTrust can effectively identify and control attacks.
