Abstract:
There are many defects in existing multi-user differential chaos shift keying (MU-DCSK) systems, such as multiuser interference and undistinguished bit error rate (BER) performance. To improve BER performance, the MU-DCSK based on the orthogonal chaotic carrier (OMU-DCSK) system is proposed. By introducing an orthogonal chaotic signals generator, the average bit energy is reduced and multi-user interference components are eliminated. The BER over Rayleigh fading channels is derived and numerous simulations are worked. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed system has superior BER performance with a little cost in complexity.
