Abstract:

Due to the high dynamic topology of satellite networks and uneven distribution of users, the satellite network will be out of balance in regional areas. Designing efficient dynamic routing algorithms becomes a hot topic in the research of wireless satellite network. Therefore, a load balancing algorithm for multi-traffic in double layered satellite network is proposed. The algorithm, with congestion detection based on link transmission, and load cost calculation according to time delay factors as well as load factors and data distribution, makes different transmission paths to meet the quality of service(QoS) demands of different businesses in order to balance network traffics. And the simulation results indicate that this algorithm could reduce the packet queuing delay and packet loss rate, and improve the throughput of the whole network.
