Abstract:

Based on the problem that the cloud cover has an influence on the optical satellite imaging quality and mission planning of the new generation of agile observing satellites, the cloud information is modeled and a method of calculating the cloud-obscuring time window is proposed. By the process of pre-judge and dichotomy, the efficiency of calculating the cloud-obscuring time window is enhanced. The agile satellite mission planning model with the consideration of cloud information is established. An algorithm based on the ant colony algorithm is proposed to solve the problem. The specific design includes the state transition rules, the mission scheduling rules and the pheromone updating rules. The comparison results of 10 experiments of different scales illustrate the effectiveness of the model and the processing method in terms of the agile satellite mission planning problem.
