Abstract:

There exist several problems in the maintenance of the large-scale phased array antenna, one is that the maintenance costs are high and the maintenance chance is hard to confirm, the other is that it is difficult to build the maintenance optimal model, and another is that the simulation and arithmetical operation of the optimal model is complicated. To solve these problems, a maintenance optimal model for the planar antenna is presented on the basis of regional quantification. Firstly, a regional quantification model is given through the analysis of influence between antenna elements and antenna performance, and then the maintenance problems of the phased array antenna are turned into the maintenance optimal of the multi-sub-region. Secondly, a maintenance optimal model for the antenna is built, which chooses minimum maintenance costs per unit time as the object and the operational availability as the subject. Finally, simulations and analysis of one example are conducted to verify the validity of the proposed model. The results show that the proposed model can solve the maintenance problems of the asymmetrical array antenna well.
