Abstract:
Based on conical conformal array with crossed dipole elements, the quaternion array signal model is built, and the quaternion multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm is proposed. This algorithm realizes de-coupling polarization and direction of arrival (DOA) information through resetting the elements with the same polarizations of sub-arrays and the principle of rank-loss, then it obtains the estimations of 2D DOA and the polarization parameter of incident signals. The computational complexity of joint polarization-DOA estimation is reduced significantly. Finally, the simulation result verifies the effectiveness of the method.
