Abstract:
A jamming technique aims at phase coded pulse compression radar. The encoded characteristic of phase coded signal is analyzed. The jamming principle and effectiveness of intermittent sampling direct and periodic repeater are presented. The derivation of phase coded pulse compression process is described in detail. On the basis of the above mentioned, a new jamming method of intermittent sampling predictive repeater based on digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) is presented. The jamming effectiveness is analyzed theoretically. This method can make the phase coded pulse radar form several precede and lag lifelike false targets. The selection and combination of code on the jamming effectiveness are discussed. The conclusion is approved by simulation. The studied result shows that the proposed jamming has better effectiveness than the intermittentsampling direct and periodic repeater jamming.
