Dominance relation and reduction in intuitionistic fuzzy information system

Abstract:

The dominance relation and the reduction method of the intuitionistic fuzzy information system (IFIS) is further investigated. Firstly, the dominance relation of IFIS is defined and the corresponding properties are researched and proved as well. Then, the upper and lower approximations of the target set of IFIS are given and the properties are also proved. Secondly, the current research status and deficiencies of the intuitionistic fuzzy decision table are analyzed, then the attribute dependency degree and attribute importance degree of the intuitionistic fuzzy decision table are proposed. Moreover, the methods of how to calculate relative attribute reduction and core attributes are proposed. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness and rationality of the proposed method.
