Abstract:

Based on scatter-wave jamming and intermittent sampling repeater, a deception jamming method for countering inversee synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) is proposed. The 2D ISAR image reconstruction difference between the images formed by the jamming signals and by the radar signals is analyzed and there is a rotational angle in the false-target images. With the dechirping, the jamming effect caused by the intermittent ratio and the sampling interval is analyzed. The restriction between the number of the false-target images and the size of the imaging scene and the sampling interval is given so that the number of the falsetarget images can be controlled. The analyses are verified by processing of simulated and real data.
