Abstract:
In order to overcome the deficiencies of traditional energy detection algorithms, a cooperative spectrum sensing algorithm based on double-threshold energy detection (CSBDE) is proposed. The doublethreshold under noise uncertainty is used as the judgement conditions in the new algorithm. Local energy detection results are divided into hard decision and soft decision. An optimized fusion rule is adapted by the cognitive base station. First, all of the local hard decisions are fused, then the local soft decisions are fused if necessary, and finally the global judging decision is made in the cognitive base station. The Monte-Carlo simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is able to overcome the noise uncertainty on the energy detection and improve the detection performance of the system.
