Abstract:

According to the relation of target position in several sequential frames of radar range-Doppler data, a method of integrating the target track in 3-D space of range-Doppler-time is proposed. The shifting operation in Doppler dimension is employed to correct the Doppler spread among frames, and the corrected 3-D data are decomposed into parallel 2-D matrices of range-time by matrices reconstruction. Finally, long time integration is fulfilled by integrating the target track which approximates to a straight line in the recombined two-dimensional data. The proposed method can be implemented by shift and accumulation operation with low computation cost and be realized in engineering application. The experiment results of real measurements show that it can dramatically prolong the effective integration time of radar signal and highly improve the performance of target detection.
