Robust H filter for uncertain linear descriptor systems

Abstract:

A robust Hfilter is designed for a class of uncertain linear descriptor systems subject to parameter uncertainty and unknown disturbance. Under the admissible and observable assumptions, the sufficient condition for the existence of the robust Hfilter is given based on the bounded real lemma for descriptor systems. The sufficient condition is reformulated as linear matrix inequalities (LMI). Therefore, the parameter matrices of the robust  Hfilter can be solved via the LMI technique. An equivalent form of the robust Hfilter is further derived to simplify the calculation procedure for the parameter matrices. Finally, a numerical example is used to illustrate the performance of the proposed method.
