Abstract:
A robust H∞ filter is designed for a class of uncertain linear descriptor systems subject to parameter uncertainty and unknown disturbance. Under the admissible and observable assumptions, the sufficient condition for the existence of the robust H∞ filter is given based on the bounded real lemma for descriptor systems. The sufficient condition is reformulated as linear matrix inequalities (LMI). Therefore, the parameter matrices of the robust H∞ filter can be solved via the LMI technique. An equivalent form of the robust H∞ filter is further derived to simplify the calculation procedure for the parameter matrices. Finally, a numerical example is used to illustrate the performance of the proposed method.
