Abstract:

Phase unwrapping is a key step in the analysis of interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) data. An InSAR phase unwrapping algorithm based on the mesh-less method is proposed. Firstly the algorithm generates a mesh-less function by the point interpolation method, and then under least square theory, phase unwrapping is implemented through estimating the local best approximate value at the domain. Combining with the advantages of both least square method and mesh-less method, the proposed algorithm can unwrap the part of unreliable regions in an interferogram effectively, and it can also avoid error propagation to a great extent. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified by simulation data and real data.
