Abstract:

Based on the dichotomy in linear optimization, a novel programming method of aperture size is proposed to study the aperture compound of conical array and multimode sensors in millimeter wave compound guidance system. And rectangular grids are laid out on the cone surface. To overcome the limit of array configuration and beam scanning characteristics to the programming of aperture size, the beams are synthesized at different pointing direction firstly. Secondly, the beam width and array directivity are taken as reference to determine the beam scanning zone. Finally, aperture size of conical array is obtained based on the dichotomy in linear optimization, while the performance of scanning beams is held. Simulation results verify the rationality and efficiency of the proposed method.
