Abstract:

When interference and radar’s targets become undistinguishable, how to suppress centroid interference is an acknowledged difficult problem. It is studied to suppress centroid interference using polarimetric contrast enhancement technology. Firstly, the echo model of a polarimetric radar seeker is built under the aforementional undistinguishable circumstances. The angle measurement using the amplitude comparison mono-pulse system is derived, and the statistical characteristics of angle measurement are given. Based on the above, a method by using polarimetric contrast enhancement technology to suppress centroid interference is proposed. Finally, the method is applied to the background of how the anti-ship missile to suppress chaff jamming centroidinterference. The performance of the method is analyzed, and the method is proved to be effective.
