Abstract:
The parameter estimation of intra-pulse modulation of radar signals is one of the main topics in electronic countermeasures. A conclusion that the intercepts on the delay and Doppler axis are the duration of coded pulse and sub-pulse rate, respectively, for P4 coded pulse signal by deriving the analytical expression of its ambiguity function (AF) is obtained. The RAT and Radon transform are used to estimate the parameters of the coded signal. The cubic data interpolation method is utilized to improve the accuracy. The output signal-to-noise-rate is analyzed for five types of codes. The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the performance of the algorithm is better for P3 and Frank than P1, P2 and P4.
