Abstract:

In this paper, an inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) image feature control method using phase coded modulation is proposed. The proposed method firstly intercepts ISAR signals via receiver antenna, then conducts two dimensional phase coded modulation on the intercepted radar signal in both fast and slow time domain. Finally, the blanket jamming strips with controllable jamming scope can be formed after ISAR processing. On this basis, the effects of modulation parameters such as the code width and the duty ratio are further analyzed, and the parameter design principles are proposed. Simulation results of Yak-42 plane data demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.
