Abstract:

The problem of space debris is becoming more and more serious. It is necessary to monitor space debris normally. As an important technology of monitoring, optical observation needs to rely on fast image processing and astronomical positioning to obtain the RA-DEC position of space objects. Star map recognition is a key step in astronomical positioning, which directly affects the speed of image processing and the accuracy of results. In this paper, an improved fast star map recognition method based on fuzzy decision is proposed, which improves the accuracy of star map recognition while maintaining fast processing. This method is tested with the image of 25 cm telescope at Nanshan station in Xinjiang, and the results prove the effectiveness and stability of the algorithm.
