Abstract:

In order to apply the network topology information in the small cell to the retransmission process of network coding, thereby effectively reducing the number of retransmissions and increasing the system throughput, a topology-aware random linear network coding (RLNC) retransmission scheme software defined network (SDN)-based in mobile small cell (MSC) (TRRS) is proposed. First, in order to collect network topology information, design the SDN controller port device mapping table. Next, select the best coded packet for retransmission according to the topology information. Finally, use the TRRS algorithm to embed the network topology information in the code retransmission process. The simulation results show that, compared with the existing SDN and network coding protocol, the TRRS scheme the number of retransmissions and increases the flexibility and throughput of the network.
