Abstract:

The maintenance resources optimization for war ship formation is taken as the application background, and based on the VARIMETRIC theory, the assumption for the infinite maintenance channel is relaxed. According to the M/M/c queuing system model, the availability evaluation model for equipment of warship formation with finite repair capacity is established. The support cost is selected as the optimization objective, the total availability of equipment in the warship formation is set as the constraint, and the margin analysis theory is used to optimize the number of spare parts and the maintenance team before the sail mission. For a specified mission case, the optimization process is conducted and a reliable result is achieved. The conclusion can provide a decision making support for equipment support personnel.
